As Partner, Client Success at Chirp, Marisa is a student of her clients’ businesses and a steward of our business. At Chirp, Marisa ensures a client-centric approach across the business, deepening the value the agency brings to its clients. In her role, Marisa builds, leads and partners with integrated teams to solve clients’ business challenges by drawing on best practices and resources across the agency.
Marisa brings nearly 25 years of B2B and B2C marketing and communications experience across corporate reputation, storytelling, brand positioning, executive visibility, employee engagement and issues management, among other specialties, to the firm.
Before Joining Chirp, Marisa spent 20 years at Edelman, the world’s leading communications firm. As the Client Strategist for the South region, Marisa most recently served at the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) for Bridgestone Americas and CKE Restaurants, parent of the Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s brands. Marisa also led multi office, geography and discipline accounts for Novelis, UPS and YP in her time at Edelman, and served on the Edelman Business Marketing U.S. Leadership Team.
Over the course of her career, Marisa has worked with clients spanning Fortune 500s to start ups across the professional services, manufacturing, food services, utility, transportation and logistics, mobility, telecom and technology sectors. Marisa’s passion for the small-to medium-sized business (SMB) based on years of client experience targeting this niche audience is evident on Twitter, where she focuses on the issues impacting SMBs and women in leadership.
Marisa’s work on behalf of her clients has resulted in numerous awards, including a Gold SABRE. A graduate of Flagler College, she holds a bachelor’s degree in communications. Marisa currently serves on the Flagler College Alumni Board. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her rescue dog, Hudson, hiking a National Park or summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro.
